Rachel Collings

Dr Rachel Collings obtained her medical degree from James Cook University in Townsville before moving to Melbourne to complete her residency and speciality training at the Royal Women’s Hospital, Melbourne. She spent a year working at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Brisbane focussing particularly on urogynaecology skills before commencing her AGES fellowship at the Gold Coast University Hospital in 2019. Rachel has an interest in surgical education having completed her Certificate of Surgical Education through the University of Melbourne, as well as in doctor wellbeing and mentoring having published the book ‘Mentoring in Medicine’ in 2014. Rachel spends her time between the busy life of work, and her partners rural property in Western Queensland.
