Dean Conrad

Dr Dean Conrad is a gynaecologist based in Sydney, Australia. He graduated from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and completed specialist training at St George and the Royal Women’s Hospitals. He holds a two-year AGES fellowship in advanced laparoscopic surgery, completed at the Sydney Women’s Endosurgery Centre (SWEC). Dean is a staff specialist at The Sutherland Hospital, a training supervisor for the Sydney Minimally Invasive Gynaecological Surgery (SMIGS) unit, and serves on both the AGES Education Committee and the Robotic Special Interest Group. He is faculty for the Australian Institute of Robotic Surgery (AIRS) and the International Medical Robotics Academy (IMRA). Dean specialises in laparoscopic and robotic surgery for pelvic floor disorders and endometriosis. He is a surgical proctor on both Da Vinci and Hugo platforms and has trained more than 20 surgeons across Australia and New Zealand. His passion for education has taken him across the globe, teaching and mentoring on the value of minimally invasive surgery.
